I know this post is not a craft, but it involves an injury while making a craft.  Be forewarned and please learn from my stupid mistake as it was very painful and stupid on my part.  I know, before I go any further I need to let everyone in on what happened. Well, I have been sewing for a bit and I love it.  I love to make wide leg pajama pants as they are so comfortable and I have become pretty good at making them.  So, I thought I would cut them out two days ago.  I do not have a cutting table so I cut everything out on the floor downstairs.  In the past this has not been such a big deal, but man oh man here it comes.  

I cut out the pants and then headed for the restroom.  As I stepped on the fabric I felt the worse pain ever.  Stupid me stepped on my pin cushion, which was upside down under my fabric.  There were 25 pins stuck in the arch of my foot.  

Buggy offered to help take them out, but I would not allow it.  I can not even explain how I did this as it was a horrific amount of pain.  At first when I tried to pull them out all I saw was the skin on the arch of my foot pull upward.  

While I am trying to type this the only thing that comes to mind is sounds and cringing body movements from the pain.  

I eventually got all the needles out and I never want to relive that moment.  However my foot still hurts two days later and you can see where all the needles went in.  

Man, oh man am I stupid.
