Hello World.!!!! Work has begun and I am exhausted every single night. I forgot how exhausting teaching can be when you have not done it all summer. Before we started though a bunch of friends and I got together and had our Final Jam for the summer. Boy, was it a Final Jam to remember. The funny thing though is a bunch of the girls hung out the night before and had a pre-final jam. It too was amazing, but that is a whole other blog and frankly I think all the women involved would prefer I will not share. Since I want to keep all my friends I will let you create your own story.
Final Jam 2009. I think I am going to let the pictures tell this story as well.
Here is Jackson acting like a pirate. Tisha has three boys and about a million costumes. All of the boys decided they should put on a variety of the costumes and run around saving all of the adults. It was entertaining to say the least. I think they would have made a great Broadway Show.
Random photo, but had to make the blog. Here we have Laura trying to help out and instead she fell over and had to have assistance putting the speakers back together, so we could all groove to the beat. I wish I could say I knew what Jack’s role in all of this was, but I can not remember for the life of me.
Soon after the stereo incident all the kiddos decided it was time to have a bonfire and roast some marshmallows. Man, oh man was this awesome. The oldest boy had just attended boy scout camp and learned all sorts of safety rules and regulations. His mama was proud of how he handled it all and helped the smaller ones be safe, but have an amazing time.
Yup, Wyatt looks just like Huck Finn and was already for the bonfire.
As the night wore on the adults used the Hannah Montana karaoke machine and sang some amazing tunes. Watch out American Idol because here we come.
This picture is work a thousand words. Check out all the mommies bustin’ a move and little Wyatt singing some tune in the background.
The night ended with Sturbo playing his guitar and entertaining the crowd with his tunes and musical talent.
How sweet? A daddy and his girl chilling out to the music and enjoying each others company.
