I Chopped It All Off

I Chopped It All Off

January 31, 2010

It is true, I chopped off all of my hair.  The inspiration was the above cut.  I did not think I would actually go through with it, but I did.  The snow did not even stop me.  Well, it almost did.  I called my friend and told her I was not going to make it as I am a terrible snow driver and my vehicle is rear wheel drive.  I have no clue but apparently rear wheel drive cars are no bueno in the snow especially for those who are not good in the snow.  Thank goodness for Kris.  She is from Utah, an amazing person and spectacular snow driver.  She came picked me up and off we went to John David’s Salon in Springfield.  I must say, I thought it was quite odd to go all the way to springfield, which is an hour with no snow, so add the snow and well it becomes and hour and a half.  I do have to admit the salon was amazing and David is spectacular.  I showed him the picture and off he went.

So here is the final product.  Yes, I know they are a bit dark, but it is hard to take photos of yourself.

the new do

Honestly, what do you think?  I do not think it is bad, but I am partial to longer hair.  Sturbo on the other hand is partial to short hair. Since it is only hair I whacked it all off and well I had to ask him if he liked it.  He said he did, but I could tell in his eyes if it were up to him I would cut it even shorter.  Are you serious?  To me this is short.

I even lost all my hair during chemo and I still consider this short.  Does that make me weird?  If so, I am okay with that.

Here is a fun picture of Jack and I being goofy.  Us being goofy
